  • Brown ground beef, garlic, onion, and peppers in a large soup pot or Dutch Oven, drain.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20 minutes to blend flavors.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef for less fatty content and grease in the recipe.
  • For additional spice level use spicy canned chili beans as recommended in the recipe.
  • Kidney or pinto are the best to use for these recipes and are the traditional choice ingredients that you can find in your canned good section of your grocery food store.
